The Kyiv City Bar Council was completely renewed – decision of the conference

On 8 October 2016 the conference of advocates from Kyiv expressed distrust to, and recalled from their posts, the KCBC Chairman Inna Rafalska and its members.

The conference also approved the Report of the Kyiv City Audit Commission of the Bar, which confirmed financial abuses in the work of the former leadership of the council.

The Kyiv advocates elected Mr Petro Ryabenko as the KCBC Chairman. His candidacy was supported by 62 votes of delegates of the conference.

On October 8 the composition of the council, which included 25 members, was also formed: Rostyslav Pukalo, Mykola Golodnyak, Oleksandr Voznyuk, Mykola Soldatenko, Armen Nersesian, Oleksadr Dulskyy, Ganna Lytvyn, Yaroslav Bondarenko, Valeriy Dzhyautov, Ganyuna Kravchuk, Zoya Yarosh, Andriy Tsygankov, Diana Nazarenko, Tetyana Mironenko, Oleg Berezyuk, Olena Zhogina, Vladyslav Bilotskyy, Yevgen Yakyma, Yuriy Borysov, Volodymyr Klochkov, Nadiya Korinna, Andriy Mamalyga, Sergiy Afindulidi, Vladyslav Sytyuk and Dmytro Pylypenko.

Mr Igor Cherezov was elected representative of the Kyiv advocates at the Bar Council of Ukraine, while Mrs Nataliya Petrova was recalled from this post.

Mrs Irina Pikh was recalled from the post of a member of the Higher Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of the Bar of Ukraine. She was replaced by Mr Valeriy Kostryukov.

The conference of advocates from Kyiv was conducted on the basis of the BCU decision no. 153 "On the approval of conclusions of the Special Interim Commission on the audit of activities of the bar self-government bodies in Kiyv".
