BCU formed the Coordination Council on Improving the Activities of the Bar

The Bar Council of Ukraine formed Coordination Council on Improving the Activities of the Bar and Ensuring Respect for Human Rights.
The relevant decision adopted on December 14, 2017, at the session of the Bar Council of Ukraine.
The draft decision was presented by Oleksandr Yushchenko, Chairman of the Committee on the Legislative Initiatives on the Bar.
The Coordination Council will include members of the Bar Council of Ukraine and the Higher Qualifications and Disciplinary Commission of the Bar, Chairs of individual committees, as well as delegates of state authorities.
The establishment of the abovementioned institution will allow to develop a range of joint, effective measures aimed at strengthening of the protection advocates’ professional rights, observance of their professional guarantees and human rights.
