Cooperation between the NBAU and the Bar Association of Milan was signed

A delegation of Ukrainian lawyers visited Italy to participate in a joint event with the Bar Association of Lawyers (Association of Advocates) in Milan, dedicated to the topic of protecting professional rights and guarantees of advocacy.

During the event, the issues of internal and external, as well as deontological guarantees of the professional activity of the lawyer, his role in the Italian and European constitutional systems were considered. Representatives of the Bar Association of Ukraine, in particular - Sergiy Moroz and Taras Savchenko raised the issue of mass violations of professional rights and guarantees of advocacy in Ukraine.

As a result of the event, an agreement on cooperation between the NBAU and the Bar Association (Association of Advocates) of Milan was signed. The framework document envisages the development of cooperation for the purpose of mutual exchange of information on the relevant legislation and harmonization of professional and ethical standards of advocacy.

In Milan there is the NBAU Representative Body, headed by lawyer Natalia Kravchuk.
