Deputy Head of the UNBA, the CLU Valentyn Hvozdii met with the newly elected President of the Federation of Legal Societies of Canada, Shelia McPherson.
The meeting was held within the framework of the annual IBA Bar Leaders Conference (IBA Bar Leaders Conference) in Oslo (Norway).
The theme of the meeting was the cooperation between lawyers of Ukraine and Canada, in particular, support for strengthening institutional capacity of lawyer's self-government in Ukraine, exchange of experience between professional communities of two countries and expansion of opportunities for advancement of lawyers.The Canadian Federation of Law Societies (FLSC) is a regulator of the Canadian legal profession, which has a coordinating role of national importance for 120,000 lawyers.
