The BCU created the Anti-Corruption Committee
The Bar Council of Ukraine at a meeting on June 1 created a Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy and Compliance.
The Committee is a permanent collegial advisory body at UNBA.
The new Committee was headed by Olexandr Gotin.
The purpose of creation of the Committee is to study and improve measures to prevent corruption, arising of conflict of interests among the advocate community.
The Committee collects, summarizes and analyzes the law enforcement practice in combating corruption, prepares analytical and methodical materials for advocates in the field of anti-corruption policy; develops training programs to increase qualification
of advocates in special fields; establishes international cooperation with institutions in professional self-government bodies of the legal profession.
