Andriy Osipov appointed head of the Ukrainian State Film Agency

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Andriy Osipov as head of the Ukrainian State Film Agency.

The relevant order dated May 30, 2025, No. 515-r, was published on the Government Portal.

Andriy Osipov is a Ukrainian producer, writer, public figure, and head of the Odessa Film Studio. He has also been an advocate since 2003 and is registered with the Odessa Regional Bar Association. Andriy Oleksiyovych is an expert of the Committee on Humanitarian Issues and Creative Initiatives of the Ukrainian National Bar Association, member of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine, expert of the commission for granting grants of the President of Ukraine to young filmmakers, co-founder and member of the organizing committee of the Ukrainian National Film Festival «Cinema for Victory», as well as head of the Council for State Support of Cinematography.

A. Osipov prepared and published a collection of works by Ukrainian advocates entitled «My Advocate's Diary», which combines short stories, essays, and novellas written by advocates who participated in the first All-Ukrainian prose competition among advocates, «Personal View».

The Ukrainian National Bar Association sincerely congratulates Andriy Osipov on his appointment and wishes him success in his new position. We are confident that his many years of experience in the fields of culture, media, and human rights will contribute to the further development of Ukrainian cinema.
