Advocates will be able to indicate their best practices in their URAU profile

Amendments to paragraph 3.1.8 of the Procedure for maintaining the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine were made by the Bar Council of Ukraine during a meeting held on October 17 in the village of Plavya, Lviv region.

As a reminder, today, at the request of a lawyer, the following information can be entered into the URAU:

• additional work addresses, means of communication;
• assistants/interns;
• total length of service as an advocate;
• position held in lawyer self-government bodies;
• awards (honorary titles, distinctions, etc.);
• addresses of official pages on social networks;
• models and serial numbers of computer equipment used;
• characteristics and corresponding serial numbers of information carriers;
• transport;
• logo and/or name of the website of the law firm or law office where the advocate practices law.

This list has now been supplemented with the legal practices in which the advocate is engaged. Up to 5 items can be specified in the URAU. The option is expected to be technically available after changes are made to the URAU software. As a reminder, technical work is scheduled for this weekend.

Currently, the list of practices contains 59 items:
