NACB is looking for corruption risks in its activities. Advocates are asked to help |
|
The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine has launched a survey aimed at gathering information to identify corruption risks in the activities of the National Bureau and prepare an Anti-Corruption Program for 2026–2028. Therefore, Director the NACB Semen Kryvonos sent a letter to the Ukrainian National Bar Association inviting advocates who have interacted with the bureau over the past two years to take part in the survey. According to the head of the anti-corruption agency, these advocates may have information about processes and procedures that need to be improved in the NACB's activities, as well as shortcomings in organizational and legal regulation that could lead to corruption risks. In general, the survey is addressed to all external stakeholders — individuals and legal entities, government authorities, representatives of public organizations, experts, and other participants in criminal proceedings who have had experience working with the bureau. The questionnaire includes questions on the assessment of information transparency, compliance with procedures during the consideration of appeals, identification of areas with the highest probability of corruption (in particular, pre-trial investigation, public procurement, personnel selection), as well as the identification of processes that require additional regulation. The survey is anonymous, and its results will be used to update the NACB Anti-Corruption Program and minimize risks in the agency's work. The survey is available at this link. |
