Popular legal practices among advocates: initial data from the URAU

142 advocates have already taken advantage of the opportunity to indicate their key legal practices in their personal accounts in the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine. The option was introduced by a decision of the Bar Council of Ukraine and activated at the end of October after the software was updated.

The first statistical data was presented by the Vice President of the UNBA, BCU Valentin Gvozdiy during a meeting of the Bar Council of Ukraine, which is taking place today, December 12, in the village of Plavya, Lviv region.

The most popular practices chosen by advocates in their personal accounts were commercial law (58), criminal law and procedure (52), and judicial practice (41). Administrative and family law were also among the top five.

Among the trends of wartime, military law is notable, chosen by 27 advocates. Business protection, contract law, tax consulting, and white-collar crime are also actively marked.

Mostly specialized areas — construction and real estate, traffic accidents, bankruptcy, pension and social security, agricultural and land law, housing, and medical law — have fewer mentions but form an important part of the overall professional profile.

In the future, the detailed professional profiles of advocates in the URAU and the ability to record up to five practices should make this register the most comprehensive source of data for market participants, clients, and advocates themselves.
