Advocate Volodymyr Matsko has been appointed representative of the Ukrainian National Bar Association in the Federal Republic of Germany, in the city of Plauen. Order No. 35 was signed by the President of the UNBA, BCU, Lidiya Izovitova. V. Matsko has been an advocate since December 2014 and has experience in Ukrainian law, private civil law and interest protection, international criminal and civil law, and human rights protection in the European Court of Human Rights. Since 2023, he has been a member of the Expert Council of the Human Rights Commissioner in the Odesa region and a member of the UNBA Committee on criminal law and procedure. Since 2024, he has also been a member of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE). In June 2024, V. Matsko became a member of the Saxon Bar Association in Germany, which gives him the right to practice law, particularly in the field of Ukrainian and international law. V. Matsko speaks German at a level that allows him to participate in professional events organized by the Saxony Bar Association, as well as to actively cooperate with German notary offices in order to provide legal assistance on issues of Ukrainian law. According to the Regulations on the representation of the Ukrainian National Bar Association Abroad, approved by the decision of the BCU No. 59 dated September 2, 2022, representatives of the UNBA abroad:
The activities of UNBA representatives abroad are financed at their own expense, at the expense of sponsors (individuals and legal entities), charitable foundations (organizations), and are based on the principle of self-financing. The UNBA does not finance or cover the expenses of its representatives.
