Advocates are invited to the III UAA Arbitration Academy 2026

The UNBA, at the initiative of the Committee on alternative dispute resolution, invites advocates, lawyers, students, judges, government officials and anyone interested in international arbitration to participate in the III UAA Arbitration Academy 2026.

The Academy is organized by the Ukrainian Arbitration Association (UAA).

The program will run from September 8 to November 12, 2026. Classes will be held online every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Kyiv time. Lectures will be conducted in English.

The Academy’s program consists of two modules — a basic course and a specialized course — with a total duration of 40 hours. It covers key issues in international commercial and investment arbitration: arbitration agreements, arbitration proceedings, investment, construction, sports, maritime, and commodity arbitration, damage assessment, third-party funding of disputes, the use of modern technologies, the interaction of arbitration with European Union law, as well as legal research in international arbitration and cross-examination of witnesses.

The Academy’s lecturers will include leading international arbitrators, advocates, and scholars. Among them are Loukas Mistelis, Patricia Shaughnessy, Jason Fry KC, Philippe Pinsolle, Benjamin Siino, Catherine A. Rogers, Patricia Nacimiento, Crenguta Leaua, James Castello, Lord Goldsmith KC and other experts in the field of international arbitration.

Ukrainian citizens are invited to participate regardless of their place of residence. Applications will be accepted until August 9, 2026.

Participants who attend at least 16 of the 20 lectures will receive a certificate of completion from the Academy.
