The UNBA congratulates Denis Maslov on his appointment as Minister of Justice

Denis Maslov’s many years of experience as a advocate, his work as a judge and his tenure as chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’s Committee on legal policy have given him a deep understanding of how the legal system functions and the challenges it faces.

During his time in parliament, Denis Maslov has repeatedly participated in discussions on legislative initiatives related to the justice system and has maintained a professional dialogue with bar associations.

We hope that in his new position, this openness to professional discussion, respect for the rule of law, and the independence of legal institutions will contribute to the further development of Ukraine’s legal system, effective cooperation between the Ministry of Justice and the advocacy community, as well as the successful implementation of reforms in the field of justice and European integration.

We wish Denys Maslov success in his important public service, prudent decisions, and fruitful work for the benefit of Ukraine.
