Competition for the Oleksandr Polivodsky scholarship announced |

In order to encourage talented Ukrainian youth to study and develop agrarian and land law, Ukraine will hold the second edition of the Oleksandr Polivodsky Ukrainian scholarship competition. The competition in 2024 was announced by the Charitable Foundation in memory of Oleksandr Polyvodskyi, a Ukrainian lawyer, talented teacher and scholar who died in April 2023 while defending Ukraine. According to the Competition Regulations, the scholarship is awarded once a year and is paid to the winner based on the results of the competition in national currency in the amount equivalent to one thousand US dollars on the date of payment of the scholarship. Participants may be citizens of Ukraine, foreigners and stateless persons who are not under sanctions and conduct research in Ukraine in the field of agricultural or land law of Ukraine. The competition is held in two stages:
At the discretion of the scholarship committee, an additional advantage may be recognized as a feature of the publication in which the publication was made (for example, publication in English, publication in a foreign publication or collection of publications based on the results of an international conference, in publications included in the Scopus Web of Science scientometric databases, etc.) To participate in the competition, you must submit an application and copies of your thematic publications by August 31. As a reminder, in 2023, the Oleksandr Polivodsky Scholarship in Agrarian and Land Law was awarded to two law students who prepared a paper on «Overview of Changes for Agrarian Law Subjects under Law No. 1914-IX». |
