The UNBA joined the Memorandum on mutual recognition of lawyers’ continuing professional training in Europe
The document was signed by Ivan Grechkivskyy, Head of the UNBA International Relations Committee, at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) in Vienna.
The CCBE Memorandum envisages mutual recognition of academic hours or training points received during the activities conducted in other Member States of the organization.
The agenda of the meeting of the Standing Committee of the largest professional organization of lawyers in Europe also included the issues of taxes, insurance, combating money-laundering under the European legislation, migration, access to justice and criminal law.
During the meeting, a report on continuing training (European Judicial Training) for 2016 was also presented.
