The All-Ukrainian Charitable Organization "Charitable Foundation of Assistance to Advocates" was created by open vote at the BCU meeting on 28 February 2014.
Its purpose is to provide support to advocates and their families who found themselves in difficult circumstances (illness, death of family members, burial, advocates who do not have families or whose families belong to vulnerable groups, damage or destruction of housing due to force majeure).
The idea to create the Foundation has a serious basis, because due to the nature of the domestic tax legislation, the Ukrainian National Bar Association as a non-profit organization is not entitled to distribute resources made available to it among its members, including provision of financial assistance to advocates.
The main objective of the Foundation is charitable activities aimed at helping the UNBA members, promoting the development of practice of law and raising the prestige of profession.
Activities of the Foundation are carried out in accordance with the Statute of the Ukrainian Charitable Organization "Charitable Foundation of Assistance to Advocates".
Supervisory Board of the Foundation includes:
