During the annual conference of the International Bar Association (IBA) in Miami (USA), the Vice President of the Ukrainian National Bar Association, Valentyn Gvozdiy, held a working meeting with the newly elected President of the Law Society of England and Wales, Lubna Shuya, and the President of the Bar Association of the Czech Republic, Robert Nemec.

The subject of the negotiations was the further cooperation of our associations in terms of providing access to the legal services market in Great Britain and the Czech Republic.

26 September 2022 Law Society of England and Wales jointly with the Ukrainian National Bar Association in London have already held a job fair, where Ukrainian lawyers were able to meet with representatives of law firms, legal departments, educational institutions and schools of the English language and learned more about the vacancies and initiatives available to them, which became an excellent opportunity to establish useful relations with a wide range of organizations in the legal field industry. The parties agreed to hold such an event again in the future.

Lawyers of the Czech Republic provided significant charitable assistance to Ukrainian lawyers affected by the war. They will continue to contribute in every possible way to our colleagues obtaining the status of lawyers of a foreign state in the Czech Republic.
