The leadership of the UNBA held a meeting with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA
The President of the Ukrainian National Bar Association, Ms. Lidia Izovitova, and Vice President, Valentyn Gvozdiy, met with the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA, her excellency Oksana Markarova via ZOOM conference.
Lidia Izovitova informed Ms. Markarova about the work of the Ukrainian National Bar Association during martial law.
Ukrainian lawyers ensure the right to defense and a fair trial to all who need it. After all, these rights are fundamental human rights guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine and the Convention on Human Rights.
The Ambassador supported the idea of the UNBA's participation in events important for Ukraine in the USA.
The parties discussed the importance of the communication component at external sites and agreed on further cooperation.
