Train4EU is looking into what advocates need to learn about EU law (survey)
The Higher School of Advocacy of the UNBA invites advocates to participate in a survey on training needs in European Union law and the practice of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
The survey is conducted as part of the international Train4EU project, which is implemented with the support of the Swedish Institute. The Ukrainian National Bar Association, represented by Hanna Osetynska, is participating in the project.
This is an international educational initiative aimed at improving the knowledge and practical skills of Ukrainian lawyers. The project involves the development, implementation, and introduction of a structured training program that takes into account the professional specifics of various legal professions.
«It is essential that the participation of advocacy organizations in such international initiatives is not formal, but substantive — with real consideration of the professional needs of advocates, the specifics of law enforcement in Ukraine, and the challenges associated with the European integration process», - commented the Higher School of Advocacy on the initiative.
The results of the survey will be used in developing the training program within the Train4EU project.
The responses of Ukrainian advocates will make it possible to take into account the real needs of legal practice, identify priority topics, adapt the training content to the work of advocates in Ukraine, and ensure that the program is useful and practical.
You can take the survey at this link.
For reference: The Swedish Institute is a Swedish government agency that supports international projects in the fields of democracy, the rule of law, human rights, education, and sustainable development. The Institute is an important partner for Ukraine in the process of European integration and institutional development.
