The Committee of the Ukrainian National Bar Association on information policy and interaction with the media is expanding its membership and invites advocates from all regions of Ukraine to join its work.

The chairman of the Committee Yuriy Radzievsky addressed advocates with this initiative.

A sample application form is available at this link. The package of documents should be sent to info@unba.org.ua

The objectives of the Committee are to ensure the information sovereignty of advocacy, support independent professional communication, disseminate socially significant information in Ukraine and beyond, and protect advocacy from external information influence.

The tasks of the UNBA Committee include methodological and practical support for press services, creating conditions for effective interaction between advocacy and the media, and participating in the development of regulatory and legal initiatives in the field of information security.

«The expansion of the membership opens up opportunities for advocates from different regions of Ukraine to join strategically important activities aimed at strengthening the unity and professional representation of advocacy in the public sphere, - said Y. Radzievsky. We remain open to cooperation, initiatives, and new ideas that will contribute to the development of a strong, independent, and professionally united advocacy».

The specifics of the Committee on information policy's work can be found in the reports for 2023 and 2024.
