Justine and Sofia — new digital speakers for the UNBA
As part of the digitization of its services, the Ukrainian National Bar Association is improving its communication channels and introducing digital speakers. From now on, AI models Justine and Sofia will be responsible for informing advocates about events, decisions, and initiatives that affect the profession.
The project aims to make the delivery of important information and key news more efficient, stable, and as easy to understand as possible.
«Digital presenters work best where regularity and a consistent structure for presenting information are required. In addition, AI provides a 24/7 update format, - explained the Vice President of the UNBA, BCU Valentin Gvozdiy. - We chose names for the models that set benchmarks: Justine comes from the Latin justus, meaning «fair» and Sophia comes from the Greek, meaning 'wisdom. So we talk about events in advocacy honestly, in accordance with the law and sensibly».
The pilot episode of «weekly results» has already been released on the official YouTube channel of the UNBA.
Oleksiy Shevchuk has stepped down as spokesperson and will no longer perform the duties of association spokesperson.
The UNBA thanks him for his work and contribution to the development of public communications. It was with Oleksiy's arrival at the association that the function of spokesperson was defined and established as a separate responsibility: responding promptly to high-profile events, communicating with the media, and participating in the formation of information policy. The transition to digital presenters is only a change in the tool used to deliver news and does not negate what has been done before: O. Shevchuk helped build the UNBA's regular public presence and an official tone of commentary that is understandable to the audience.
