Lawyers gave practical advice to Ukrainians abroad on legal issues
The UNBA provided practical advice on how to register with the consulate, obtain documents and payments at the birth of a child, register a marriage, etc. for Ukrainian citizens permanently residing or temporarily staying outside Ukraine.
The methodological guide on legal issues of Ukrainians outside Ukraine was prepared by the representative of UNBA in the Republic of Cyprus Victoria Polishchuk.
The publication consists of 7 chapters:
- Registration of Ukrainian citizens permanently residing or temporarily staying outside Ukraine.
- Birth of children outside Ukraine.
- Appointment of childbirth assistance during temporary stay abroad.
- Registration of marriage of Ukrainian citizens outside Ukraine.
- Divorce of Ukrainian citizens outside Ukraine.
- Receiving a pension outside of Ukraine.
- Registration of death of Ukrainian citizens who died abroad.
The manual is a summary of information on legal issues in all countries of the world and contains the legal framework, practical advice on paperwork, as well as useful links to the websites of Ukrainian and foreign government agencies.
