Essay contest on the synergy of human and artificial intelligence in diplomacy has begun

The Educational and Scientific Institute of International Relations at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv invites students from higher education institutions in Ukraine to participate in the Second All-Ukrainian essay competition on the topic «Modern Ukrainian diplomacy: synergy of human and artificial intelligence in defending national interests».

Students of any major and course (up to and including master's degree) are eligible to participate.

The goal is to develop critical thinking and analytical skills among young people, as well as to encourage students to reflect on the role of modern Ukrainian diplomacy and the potential of artificial intelligence in the field of national security.

After submitting their applications (by October 31), participants will receive a list of eight topics to choose from. Essays must be submitted by November 10.

Based on the results of the written stage, 10 finalists will be selected to participate in the in-person final in the form of a debate in Kyiv.

The jury, which includes Hanna Osetynska, chairman of the UNBA Committee on commercial law and procedure and Vadym Popko, member of the Committee, will select five winners. They will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to intern at the Ukrainian National Bar Association, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and law firms.

The competition is held with the support of the Office of the President of Ukraine, the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the UNBA.
