Young advocates have special conditions for participation in ERA summer courses

The Academy of European Law (ERA) provides an opportunity to receive a 25% discount exclusively for the UNBA NextGen as EYBA members for their summer course program.

Special scholarship conditions for young attorneys were introduced as a result of the partnership between the UNBA NextGen and the Academy of European Law.

The ERA summer course program will allow you to expand your knowledge and skills in 15 areas of European law, as well as gain experience from leading European lawyers and experts.

The 25% discount is valid with the voucher code SC2024EYBA.

In addition, ERA has announced a scholarship competition to attend the event in Trier, Germany.

The scholarship can cover one or all of the following:

  • participation fees;
  • contribution to travel expenses;
  • accommodation during the event.

The scholarship can be granted to lawyers, judges, prosecutors and officials from EU member states, candidate countries and potential candidates who cannot afford to attend events organized by the ERA.

Scholarships are available for one event only, and candidates who have already received a scholarship are not eligible for a second grant.

Applicants should not register for an event until they have received a decision on their scholarship application.

Application deadline:

  • 2 months before the event (for offline events);
  • 1 month before the event (for online events).

Required documents:

  • scholarship application form;
  • resume;
  • motivation letter.

Successful applicants will be asked to write a report on how they used the scholarship in their work.
