An extract from the URAU will be available in your personal account
Starting Monday, September 23, lawyers will be able to independently generate extracts from the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine through their personal electronic account on the website of the Ukrainian National Bar Association.
The relevant changes were made to the Procedure for Maintaining the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine, approved by the decision of the BCU dated 22.08.2022, during the meeting of the Bar Council of Ukraine, which is taking place in Zakarpattia.
The technical work necessary to implement this opportunity is scheduled to take place on September 22 between 10:00 and 20:00. In this regard, there may be interruptions in the work of personal accounts of advocates.
In accordance with Article 17 of the Law «On the Bar and Practice of Law», the information entered into the URAU is publicly available on the UNBA's website. The Bar Council of Ukraine and regional bar councils provide extracts from the URAU upon request of an advocate or other person.
An extract from the URAU is certified by the President of the of the UNBA, BCU, and the UNBA seal «For an extract from the Unified Register of Advocates». Such an extract is legally significant, so it can be used to provide it at the request of law enforcement, tax authorities and other requesters.
The extract will also contain a QR code that can be used to verify the data.
