Today, we have 41713 attorneys registered in the electronic office on the website of the Ukrainian National Bar Association.

Some statistical data on the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine, as well as the issue of payment of annual fees to ensure the implementation of the bar self-government, were announced by Valentyn Gvozdiy, the Vice President of UNBA, BCU during the meeting of the Bar Council of Ukraine held on December 15-16.

«This means that so many lawyers are actually working, because they use our electronic services, generate warrants, pay fees, etc. – said Valentyn Gvozdiy. - And we see this movement despite the difficult conditions in which lawyers work today because of the war».

He also said that the UNBA currently has 46969 attorneys who have not suspended or terminated their practice of law. «That is, about five thousand have not yet registered in the electronic office, explained V. Hvozdiy. - But this does not mean that these people have disappeared or are not working. They work in lawyer's associations and often the warrant is issued by the lawyer's association, not the lawyer himself. Of course, there are some lawyers who continue to use paper warrants».

The reform of medical-social assessment and military medical commissions has changed procedures but has not resolved practical issues. People face situations where documents are not issued, decisions are based on technicalities, assessments are delayed, and they struggle to demonstrate their actual health status in specific life situations.
