The Paris Bar Association has announced a call for participants for its international internship program for young lawyers, which will start in October this year and last eight weeks.

The course of study will include the legal system, legal ethics and legal procedures in France. Participants will have the opportunity to undergo internships at law firms in Paris.

The course will be taught by law professors and renowned French lawyers.

The program is open to Ukrainian lawyers who meet the requirements:

  • age - up to 40 years
  • fluency in French;
  • have professional liability insurance.

The deadline for applying for the International Internship Program is April 12.

The application must be accompanied by a resume and a motivation letter in French, a photo, a copy of the passport and an extract from the Unified State Bar Register dated 2024.

The training itself is free of charge, but the participant is responsible for covering his/her own travel and accommodation expenses for two months in Paris. The selected candidate will have to find accommodation in Paris.

The program of theoretical and practical training has been organized by the Paris Bar Association since 1991. It is conducted in partnership with the School of Professional Training of Advocates under the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal. Each year, the program accepts about thirty French-speaking young lawyers from all over the world.
