In addition to the monthly basic types of remuneration for servicemen, which are the base salary, military rank salary and longevity allowance, there are also additional types. One of them is an increased official salary.
The conditions for its receipt are set out in Section V of the Procedure for the Payment of Remuneration to Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Certain Other Persons, approved by Order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine No. 260 dated 07.06.2018.
The salaries are not increased for all servicemen, but only for servicemen who perform military service in the territories
- settlements granted the status of mountainous (+25%)
- Zmeinyi Island (+50%).
Increased salaries are paid on a monthly basis:
- from the day of enrollment in the lists of military unit personnel until the day of discharge;
